PMM Hive Community Guides
Everything you need to know
If someone posts something you don’t agree with, recognize that there are multiple valid perspectives and engage in a discussion. There is no tolerance for destructive behavior.
It is okay to disagree
Discussions and debates are what this community is all about. Be respectful and polite as you communicate.
Avoid excessive self-promotion
Do post blogs or other content you create to the #freshcontent channel. Interject relevant comments into any channel. But do not spam the workspace.
Don't post across multiple channels, pick one!
Channels let community members choose what they want to see. Don’t post the same content on multiple channels.
Unsure if you should post something?
Just ask. Send a private message to an admin (if in doubt, talk to @Louise Liu). We will help in any way we can.
Don't spam or scrape email addresses
We do not tolerate spam either in Slack or in email addresses scraped from Slack. We do not share your email addresses.
If you do not follow these rules, you will be asked to leave.
Always remember to introduce yourself
We’re so excited to have you with us! If you haven’t done so, please add a short introduction message to the #introduction channel. Make sure to include your full name and what do you do (job title and company), because we are trying to keep this community professional and spam-free .
